TV Shows:
- Charité (on Netflix) - first season is set during 1888 and the years following at Berlin's Charité hospital. A second series aired in Germany in February 2019. This season is set from 1943 to 1945. The cast has been replaced with completely different actors due to the great time lapse between the seasons.
- The Same Sky (original title: Der gleiche Himmel, on Netflix) is a 2017 German TV miniseries set in Cold War Germany and portrays the fate of two families on either side of the Berlin Wall. The story revolves around the relationship between an East German "Romeo" agent – a spy who uses seduction as a way to unearth secrets — and his female target in the West.

- Mauerpark Flee Market (Sundays only) – great for strolling through on your own time
- Dussmann Bookstore (Friedrichstraße 90, 10117 Berlin U+S-Friedrichstrasse) – open 10am – 12am, closed on Sundays – large collection of Berlin books, DVDs, Music, and now also a large English book section
- Original Unverpackt – packaging-free supermarket in Kreuzberg
